Microsoft Offers Windows Sounds Voiced by Eri Kitamura

The software maker Microsoft celebrated the birthday of Claudia Madobe, the official mascot character of its Windows Azure cloud services, by offering a Windows system sound and wallpaper pack on Sunday. Voice actress Eri Kitamura gave "Cloud Girl" her voice, and the Windows pack includes 28 sound samples from Kitamura as Claudia.
With the pack, Microsoft Windows can start up with Kitamura (as Claudia) saying in Japanese, "Welcome back." It can also shut down with her saying, "It's been a long day, see you tomorrow," and it can report an error by saying, "I'm such an idiot." As a bonus, it has Claudia saying, "Oniichan no Koto Nanka Zenzen Suki Janain Dakara ne—!!" (Because I Don't Like My Big Brother At All--!!) — Kitamura starred in the anime Oniichan no Koto Nanka Zenzen Suki Janain Dakara ne—!! and sang its theme songs.
The pack is available for download until Thursday.
Claudia's birthday (November 20) is also the day that Microsoft Windows 1.0 shipped in 1985. Microsoft Japan created Claudia to explain and promote Microsoft's Windows Azure cloud services system. Claudia's website posted two manga installments about Windows Azure, and the third is slated for Friday.
