Oldboy Video Promotes Contest to Win Hammer Prop

Movie website FilmDistrict is holding an Oldboy contest for a chance to win the hammer prop Josh Brolin uses in the film remake. Contestants need to take a picture of themselves eating a dumpling at their favorite restaurant and post it on Twitter with the "#eattheclues" hashtag. Entries must be submitted before October 20 and a winner will be chosen at random on October 21. The dumpling contest ties into a recently released clip from Spike Lee's Oldboy remake.
The Entertainment Tonight program is hosting another clip from Spike Lee's Oldboy remake, which shows a confrontation between Joe Doucett (Josh Brolin) and Marie (Elizabeth Olsen):
Entertainment Weekly magazine unveiled the New York Comic Con (NYCC) poster the film on Thursday. Film cast members Michael Imperioli (Chucky) and Pom Klementieff (Haeng-Bok) are attending the convention with screenwriter Mark Protosevich. The film staff hosted a panel at 6 p.m. on Thursday. Copies of the poster are available at Dark Horse's NYCC booth.
Lee shot his remake with Brolin (Milk, Men in Black 3), actress Elizabeth Olsen (Silent House, Martha Marcy May Marlene), Sharlto Copley (District 9, The A-Team), Samuel L. Jackson (Jungle Fever, Pulp Fiction, The Avengers), and James Ransone (Sinister, Inside Man, The Next Three Days) last fall.
The film will open in North America on November 27.
