Attack on Titan is #8 Graphic Novel in U.S. Bookstores in December

The first volume of Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan manga ranked at #8 on Nielsen BookScan's list of top 20 graphic novel sales in December. Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead Compendium One topped the chart.
The first volume of Attack on Titan was one of three manga volumes on the top 20 chart. The 63rd volume of Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto manga ranked at #9, and Attack on Titan volume 2 ranked at #19.
Additionally, Gene Luen Yang's Avatar: The Last Airbender-The Search part 3 ranked at #14.
In November, Attack on Titan volume 1 ranked at #8, volume 2 ranked at #18, and volume 18 ranked at #20. Naruto volume 63 ranked at #2.
The BookScan rankings represent sales at Barnes & Noble and other book chains, independent bookshops, and online purchases — but not sales at comic book stores, Walmart, and some other venues.
