Kei Mizoguchi's 2010 novel of sci-fi anime to ship in January 2015

The official Twitter account for the Time of Eve anime announced on Friday that Kei Mizoguchi's 2010 Time of Eve: Another Act novel will receive an English translation. The Time of Eve online shop began accepting preorders on Friday.

Tony Gonzalez is translating the 190-page novel into English, and Ng Jun Siang is editing the translation. The release features anime character designer Ryuusuke Chayama's nine original illustrations, including four full-color drawings.

The translated novel will be available for preorder until November 7 for US$14.95. People who preorder will receive a credit in the book's "Special Thanks" section. The English release is slated to ship in January 2015.

Pied Piper, Directions, and Studio Rikka held a Kickstarter campaign last year to release an international Blu-ray Disc version of the 2010 Time of Eve film. The campaign raised US$215,433 and hired Michael Sinterniklaas to produce the English dub of at NYAV Post. The standard and deluxe editions are slated to ship in North America on November 15.

The 2010 film of the 2008 original net anime (ONA) became available digitally on the iTunes Store in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand in 2011. The film adapted the original six-episode net series and added new scenes, a new ending, and a theme song by Kalafina.

Crunchyroll began streaming the ONA in 2008, and the English-subtitled Japanese Blu-ray Disc of the series was released in the United States and Europe in 2012.

The ONA also inspired a manga and fanbook in 2010 and the "Time of Eve act 0X" iPhone app in 2012.
