PS4/PS Vita game to ship in Europe on November 13, N. America on November 17

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe began streaming an English multiplayer trailer for its Sword Art Online: Lost Song game on Friday. The video previews the character customization feature and multiplayer battles (both co-op and player-vs.-player).

The game is set in the continent of Svart Alfheim, with the flying city of LINE at its center. Here, the player can prepare and decide on their party and set out on quests. The game's features include 3D flight-based combat.

Producer Yōsuke Futami said in January that the game would include 20 to 30 hours of gameplay. There are no specific endings for each character, but the game includes special, character-specific episodes. Futami also said that five to ten multiplayer quests would be available from the onset of the game, and that completing quests in story mode will increase the areas and quests available in multiplayer mode.

Luna Haruna is performing the song "Yoru no Niji o Koete" (Over the Night Rainbow), and Eir Aoi is performing ”Cynthia no Hikari" (Cynthia's Light") for the game.

The "Game Director's Edition" release will include the Sword Art Online: Lost Song and Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment games for the PS4 as well as a product code for downloadable costumes for both games. Bandai Namco Entertainment will release the "Game Director's Edition" in Japan on November 19. The games will also ship separately for the PS4 on the same day.

Bandai Namco Entertainment released Sword Art Online: Lost Song for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in Japan on March 26. The game is slated for November 13 in Europe, and November 17 in North America on the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation Vita.
