Funimation announced on Wednesday that it will begin streaming the Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie, The Last -Naruto the Movie-, and Boruto -Naruto the Movie- anime films on August 21 in the U.K. and Ireland.

Funimation began streaming the Naruto Shippūden and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime on July 1 in the U.K. and Ireland. All episodes of Naruto Shippūden and the first 51 episodes of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations are available on the streaming service both in Japanese with English subtitles and with an English dub. Funimation began streaming the Naruto television anime in the U.K. and Ireland in October 2019. All episodes are available both with English subtitles and a dub.

Funimation began streaming Naruto in North America with English subtitles and a dub on July 6.

Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie opened in Japan in July 2012. Viz Media released the film on home video. Funimation describe the story:

For my friends and family, I'll risk my life for this mission!

Long ago, a masked shinobi unleashed the Nine-Tailed Fox onto the Hidden Leaf Village to spread chaos and destruction. But the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, and his wife, Kushina Uzumaki, sealed the Tailed Beast into their newborn son Naruto to save the village, foiling the shinobi's plans.

Years later, Naruto and his friends succeed in driving away the infamous Akatsuki, who have mysteriously returned from the dead. Upon returning to the village, the young shinobi are praised by their families for completing a dangerous mission. Reminded of how alone he is, Naruto begins to wonder what it's like to have parents, when a strange masked figure appears before him–the same masked shinobi responsible for the death of his parents!

The Last -Naruto the Movie- debuted in Japan in December 2014. Viz Media screened the film in the U.S. in February 2015, and it released the movie on home video. Funimation describes the story:

Two years have passed since the fated battle between Naruto and Sasuke in the Hidden Leaf Village. A comfortable peace has fallen over the village, and the winter festival approaches with a bit more excitement than usual. Seasons of war have transformed Naruto and his friends into elite young warriors, but now they grow into the adults they were meant to be, forming bonds beyond friendship.

Naruto and Hinata approach this next stage with trepidation and find their progress stalled when a mysterious and dangerous man appears with a disturbing message: the end of the world is upon them. Once again Naruto and his friends are sent to investigate and stop the impossible: a falling moon! What is the tragic fate that connects this disaster with Hinata's Hyuga Clan? And to what lengths will Naruto go to speak the words that will change his life?

Boruto -Naruto the Movie- opened in Japan in August 2015. Viz Media screened the film in the United States and Canada in October 2015, and it released the film on home video. Viz describes the story of the film:

In Boruto -Naruto the Movie-, famed ninja, Naruto Uzumaki protects the Hidden Leaf Village as the Seventh Hokage, while Boruto, his troublesome son, resents his father's responsibilities that take his time away from him. Seeing this, Sasuke takes Boruto under his wing, while Sasuke's only daughter, Sarada, dreams of being Hokage one day.
With Naruto as the Seventh Hokage, the Hidden Leaf Village plans to host the Chunin Exams to train new shinobi from the village and from their allied villages. Among the entrants are Sasuke's daughter, Sarada, Mitsuki, an exceptionally talented yet mysterious shinobi… and Boruto, Naruto's talented but impetuous son. Meanwhile, Sasuke who's been on a mission in another dimension appears before Naruto to warn of a strange impending danger. Shrouded with an evil aura, Momoshiki and Kinshiki appear and attempt to assassinate Naruto. Petrified, Boruto is shielded by Naruto, only to disappear in front of Boruto's own eyes!

Funimation announced its acquisition of Manga Entertainment Limited, a distributor of anime including Naruto in the United Kingdom and Ireland, in May 2019. The Funimation subsidiary is offering more than 900 hours of subtitled and dubbed content, and most of the titles are available streaming in the U.K. and Ireland on FunimationNow.

The Naruto franchise includes multiple television anime, anime films, and original video anime. The Naruto television anime aired from 2002 to 2007. The Naruto Shippūden anime sequel series premiered in 2007 and ended in 2017. The Boruto sequel manga inspired the ongoing television anime series Boruto: Naruto Next Generations that premiered in April 2017.
